16th annual Sustainable Living Fair Educates Communities

The future of the world is in our hands. As individuals, we can make choices in our daily lives that protect, preserve and prolong the life of our environment, which is directly related to human health and the American way of life.

As an indicator of the growing interest in our environment, more and more products and projects tout a “green” component. But it takes more than words to bring the concept of sustainability home. The Sustainable Living Association (SLA) brings sustainability into an individual’s everyday life. The mission of this non-profit organization is to educate people and communities in the Rocky Mountain region to make healthy sustainable choices. As a community working collectively, our impact grows through outreach & education.

As global community members, we can each reduce the stress on our planet by developing sustainable lifestyles. Living a sustainable lifestyle ensures that social, environmental and economic systems are viable and offer a healthy and meaningful life for our citizens. This means green jobs, energy independence, clean air and water and safe communities. That is the foundation on which SLA has built its mission.

The SLA has made tangible changes in the lives of thousands of citizens by providing practical options for everyday living. For the past decade the Sustainable Living Fair has been a national destination point for sustainable education and information. The goal of the annual Sustainable Living Fair is to inspire people to take action using the tools and knowledge gained at the Fair.
