At the 12th annual Earth Day Fort Collins event local youth will gather to train and inspire other youth on 5 different educational areas focused on climate change and how to take action.  This event is led, organized and implemented by youth who are aware of the effects of climate change on our planet AND they want to do something about it.

  • Talk About It – Training on how to talk about climate change utilizing our free ebook, “Communicating Climate“.
  • Act on It- youth will participate in a community service project.
  • Learn About It- information sharing with a panel of youth experts followed by a Q&A session.
  • DIY- Educational session on composting (reducing greenhouse gas from food waste) & biking (alternative transportation).
  • Activate- fundraising for a cause.

We are looking for local sponsors to help make this event possible.  We have several sponsor levels to choose from and lots of great ways for you to gain exposure before, during and after the event.

The Sustainable Living Association is the guiding non-profit and all sponsorships will go through this organization. Your support will help cover project costs and make this event a reality.  Here’s a list of things your support could go towards: Rental Equipment, Youth T-shirts, Zero Waste Stations, Student Recruitment through Marketing Outreach, Sack Lunches, Reusable Water Bottles and more.  Join us and help us elevate the voices of our youth – they have a lot to say!
