Participate in our Barrier Analysis Survey

You are invited to participate in a research study to understand the barriers to participation in the Climatewise program in Ft. Collins, CO. The study is being conducted by Auburn University and Kellie Falbo, the Executive Director of the Sustainable Living Association, under an environmental justice grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency.  You were selected as a possible participant because you are part of a business, non-profit, or public sector organization operating in Fort Collins, Colorado, you (would have been) eligible to participate in Climatewise and are age 19 or older.  The survey will take about 7-10 minutes to complete.  We ask that you complete the survey no later than August 1, 2022.

 

What will be involved if you participate?  If you decide to participate in this research study, you will be asked to participate in a survey. The survey will take approximately 7-10 minutes to complete.

 

Are there any risks or discomforts?  There are no known risks associated with participating in this survey. We will not identify any single response; i.e., all survey results will be aggregated for analysis. Individual responses will not be identified, and all responses are anonymous.

 

Are there any benefits to yourself or others?  If you participate in this study, you can expect no direct benefits. We are happy to share the results of our survey with you. If you are interested in receiving our survey results, please contact Jonathan M. Fisk at jmf0055@auburn.edu.

 

Will you receive compensation for participating?  You will not receive any financial compensation for participation. 

 

Are there any costs?  Your participation is voluntary and will not cost you anything. If you decide to participate, Auburn University has not provided for any payment if you are harmed as a result of participating in this study.

 

If you change your mind about participating? You can withdraw at any time by (example: closing your browser window).  If you choose to withdraw, your anonymous data cannot be withdrawn since it will be unidentifiable. Your decision about whether to participate or to stop participating will not jeopardize your future relations with Auburn University, the Sustainable Living Association, or any member of the research team. 

 

Any data obtained in connection with this study will remain anonymous. We will protect your privacy and the data you provide in the following ways:

  1. You may opt not to participate.
  2. You may end the survey at any time and/or refuse to answer questions,
  3. We will not identify any single response i.e. all survey results will be aggregated prior to analysis.
  4. Our survey platform (Qualtrics) uses anonymous links for the survey. This option does not collect identifying information such as name or email address.
